Xia Lingmin delivered a speech entitled "Reform of Textile and Apparel Industry and the Rise of Central China", introduced the basic situation of China's textile and garment industry, affirmed the achievements in the process of industrial transformation and upgrading in recent years, and analyzed the central region represented by Zhuzhou. The industrial development advantages and development opportunities, and pointed out the direction for the next transformation and upgrading.

In his speech, he said that in recent years, the transformation and upgrading of the textile and garment industry has been continuously innovated in terms of new materials, new technologies, new processes and new models, driven by the support of local governments and the market, and has improved industrial intelligence and branding. With the development level of greening, it is developing towards the innovation-driven technology industry, the culture-led fashion industry, and the environmentally-oriented green industry. As an important clothing industry cluster, Reed should seize its own advantages and external opportunities in the future to realize the new development of Zhuzhou apparel industry and promote the rise of the apparel industry in Central China.
